Helpful Hints on Testing

If a student follows these hints on testing it could make it easier for the student on testing day.

- Answer all questions.

- Avoid making errors on answer sheets.

- If you change an answer, be sure to erase your pencil marks completely.

- Often information in a later question can be used to answer an earlier question.

- Pay attention to key words like: not, but, except, always, never and only.

- Skip the hard question and answer the easy ones first go back to the hard question when you are finished.

- Think twice before changing an answer, you first guess is usually the correct one.

- Use common sense when looking at your answer choices.

- When all else fails, guess.

- Work as quickly as you can, but do not race.
